Principal's Message
Dear Aztec Families,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Soria! I am looking forward to school-wide events, extracurricular opportunities, and activities that bring our students, staff, and families together. We will continue to celebrate our traditions while creating new memories and experiences as a school community.
As we begin this new academic year, I want to make sure you all understand the state cell phone policy. It is a requirement that students will have their devices (including but not limited to phones, watches, AngelSense, Meta glasses) off and in their backpacks at all times. They will not be allowed to use them until they leave the campus which is new to the students and we will remind them before they leave. Please review the cell phone policy in this packet thoroughly so there are no misunderstandings.
Creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space remains a top priority and we will be defining The Soria Way as our compass for excellence, kindness, and pride of community. This campaign will launch on Back to School Night on September 8th from 5:30-7:00PM. I am looking forward to working with all of you this year on truly defining the meaning of The Soria Way. This year, we will dive deeper in how to partner and further build our culture, student inclusivity, and academic pride.
Our passionate and dedicated staff are committed to providing meaningful, challenging, and engaging learning experiences that support the unique needs of every student. By encouraging critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and curiosity, we strive to equip our Aztecs with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Welcome back to Soria! I look forward to all that we will accomplish together and am excited for a year filled with learning, growth, connection, and celebration. Together, we will continue to make Soria a place where every student can learn, grow, and shine.

¡Bienvenidas nuevamente a otro emocionante año escolar en Soria! Espero con entusiasmo los eventos escolares, las oportunidades extracurriculares y las actividades que reunirán a nuestros estudiantes, personal y familias. Continuaremos celebrando nuestras tradiciones mientras creamos nuevos recuerdos y experiencias juntos como comunidad escolar.
Al comenzar este nuevo año académico, quiero asegurarme de que todos comprendan la política estatal sobre el uso de teléfonos celulares y dispositivos electrónicos. Es obligatorio que los estudiantes mantengan sus dispositivos (incluidos, entre otros, teléfonos celulares, relojes inteligentes, dispositivos AngelSense y lentes Meta) apagados y guardados en sus mochilas en todo momento. No se les permitirá utilizarlos hasta que hayan salido del plantel escolar. Este procedimiento será nuevo para nuestros estudiantes, por lo que les recordaremos que pueden usar sus dispositivos antes de retirarse. Por favor, revisen detenidamente la política sobre teléfonos celulares incluida en este paquete para evitar cualquier malentendido.
Crear un ambiente seguro, inclusivo y acogedor continúa siendo una de nuestras principales prioridades. Este año definiremos “The Soria Way” (El Estilo Soria) como nuestra guía hacia la excelencia, la amabilidad y el orgullo por nuestra comunidad. Lanzaremos oficialmente esta iniciativa durante nuestra Noche de Regreso a Clases el 8 de septiembre, de 5:30 a 7:00 p. m. Espero con entusiasmo trabajar con todos ustedes este año para definir juntos lo que realmente significa “The Soria Way”. Profundizaremos en las maneras en que podemos colaborar para seguir fortaleciendo nuestra cultura escolar, la inclusión de nuestros estudiantes y el orgullo por sus logros académicos.
Nuestro apasionado y dedicado personal está comprometido a brindar experiencias de aprendizaje significativas, desafiantes y motivadoras que respondan a las necesidades únicas de cada estudiante. Al fomentar el pensamiento crítico, la creatividad, la colaboración y la curiosidad, buscamos proporcionar a nuestros Aztecas las habilidades y la confianza que necesitan para prosperar tanto dentro como fuera del salón de clases.
¡Bienvenidos nuevamente a Soria! Espero con entusiasmo todo lo que lograremos juntos y un año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento, conexión y celebración. Juntos, continuaremos haciendo de Soria un lugar donde cada estudiante tenga la oportunidad de aprender, crecer y brillar.
