The Ventura County Indian Education Consortium is a Federally Funded Program providing direct services to American Indian and Alaskan Native Students in grades K-12 in Ventura County.

Juan L. Soria School celebrates the history of Native Peoples on Native American Day (in September), Indigenous Peoples Day (in October) and Native American Heritage Month (in November) to illuminate the unique histories of the people in our community who come from Indigenous backgrounds.
